CITB - Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme (SEATS)
This course is designed to provide a basic understanding of environmental impacts and precautions associated with the construction sector.
Intermediate: Expected Salary c £25,000 - £35,000
Typical roles will relate to jobs with environmental responsibilities combined with other roles such as Quality, Health and Safety Advisors, Facilities Management, Environmental engineers and Project Management roles. Or Environmental Co-ordination roles in lower environmental impact sectors e.g. retail and service sectors.
NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management - Leading to new IEMA Associate (AIEMA) membership
A five day course, high impact course that delivers all the environmental knowledge required for those starting with environmental responsibilities. Completion leads to automatic IEMA Associate membership (AIEMA) - the entry point for those building a career in environment and sustainability
IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management - leading to new IEMA Associate (AIEMA) membership
This 5 day business-centred course is for those who have only recently become involved in environmental management, or for whom environmental management is an integral part of a wider range of responsibilities. It is the first step on the IEMA Membership ladder of professional development. New Associate (AIEMA) membership is the entry point for those building a career in environment and sustainability
Advanced: Expected Salary c £30,000 - £45,000
Typical roles will relate to jobs QSHE Managers, Auditors, Waste and Carbon managers, H&S Trainers, Energy Assessors or working in an environmental role looking to develop to the next level.
IEMA Lead Environmental Auditor
This course is designed to develop delegates auditing skills through their application to an Environmental Management Systems audit of a petrochemicals company. Participants work in small teams, led by an experienced Lead Auditor as they conduct an opening meeting, plan the audit, interview employees and evaluate the key documentation of the Environmental Management System; to review, analyse and use as they would in a real audit. The culmination of the class is a closing presentation to the senior management of the company..
IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management by Applied Learning - leading to new IEMA Practitioner (PIEMA) membership
The course is made up of eleven units each requiring an assignment to demonstrate required knowledge and understanding and submission of work evidence to demonstrate that PIEMA competence has been achieved. This is e-Portfolio Based assessment – there are no exams, it is widely recognised as the minimum professional achievement for anyone working in an environment or sustainability role.
Specialist: Expected Salary c £35,000 - £55,000+
Typical roles of those looking for Full membership of IEMA include strategic and specialised roles such as Principal Environmental Consultant, Head of Sustainability, Environmental Director or Manager.
Full Membership (MIEMA) to IEMA incorporating IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management by Applied Learning
This two part course starts with our unique applied learning course that takes delegates from a basic understanding of environmental issues through the IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management without exams, through learning by doing. In Part 2 our Full Membership development programme supports you all the way to Full Chartered Membership of IEMA.
Pathway to MIEMA
The Full membership development programme is for those delegates that already hold PIEMA status and wish to go on to become Full Chartered Members of IEMA.
We also offer an international version of the IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management, Full membership and Pathway courses, with past delegates coming from the Africa, Americas, Europe, and Asia
